Dogs Available for Adoption

Aurora

I'm currently fostering a Husky that was found running loose on a hiway near Ennis on Apr 17th. She was not chipped and I haven't been successful in locating her owner. She is about 16-18mos old, is very, very smart, seems house-trained, walks well at heel with a loose lead, and is very affectionate and non-aggressive to humans. She is still very much an exuberant puppy and needs an owner who can give her a lot of exercise, but she is learning basic commands such as sit, down, stay, and is pretty well behaved.
Unfortunately, I don't think our current dogs are going to allow her into the pack. But we own a house next door to ours and as long as it doesn't sell, we can keep her there while waiting for her adoption. We've had her chipped, spayed, and have had our vet run the full set of health tests.

"If you are interested contact Adopt a Husky by completing the application on our site at www.adoptahusky.org and returning it to us.
