Katia is looking for a new home. At six months and 32 pounds, Katia was surrendered to rescue for being too much of a handful. Since then, Katia has been learning house rules, dog rules, basic obedience, etc. She is still a baby, and needs monitoring to make sure she is not putting the wrong things in her mouth. Otherwise, she is well on her way to becoming a good husky. She goes into her crate now when instructed. She sleeps in it at night with no issues at all.
Katiana is smart, very expressive, always busy and incredibly happy. Everything is a game. She is responsive to training, albeit with a short attention span. She is quite a talker, and is living with several other dogs (all larger than her).
Warning: NO cats. She has a very high prey drive for such a young gal.
New home....Katiana is pretty, but she needs an understanding owner. We will be diligent in finding the right home for this lady in hopes that this sweet wild child finds her forever home. So, what home would be right for Ms. Kat?
1. Yard with tall secure fence (no apartments) 2. A human who is home a lot 3. Another playful dog over 20 pounds 4. Patient, experienced owner who knows how to continue training 5. Person who wants to have fun with their dog. Katiana is comic relief. 6. Local (Dallas area) strongly preferred
Kat is true to her breed and plays 7 hours a day. She likes to train. She is self confident, and enjoys both human and dog time.
