Sassy

We adopted Sassy in February of 2001. We had been without a dog for almost 7 years, but with the kids growing up, I needed someone to 'nurture'. From the first day she came to live with us, it was as though she had been with us forever. She is a most excellent dog, and it didn't take her long to learn the routine of the house. As soon as everyone is gone for the day to work and school, she lets me know that it is time for her walk. She loves her walks so much and I feel bad if we don't go every day. She also loves to take sunbaths in the backyard every afternoon.

My boys love her so much. She loves to 'accompany' my oldest boy when he practices his saxophone. They make beautiful 'music' together. She is so funny sometimes and she's very talkative. She's my best friend and I could not imagine life without her!
